Favourite Film openings

 To enhance my grasp of the coursework, I examined projects crafted by previous media studies students. Among the numerous openings I observed, these two particularly caught my attention and became my favorites.

1. Gravity

The opening scene of "Gravity" is a cinematic masterpiece, immersing viewers in a visually stunning single take through space. The seamless blend of technology and cinematography creates suspense and isolation, setting the stage for a gripping journey. The profound silence and evocative soundtrack enhance the emotional impact, making it a captivating cinematic experience.

2. Dark knight

The opening scene of "The Dark Knight" likely captured your attention due to its gripping heist sequence, introducing the enigmatic character of the Joker played by Heath Ledger. The intense atmosphere, cleverly executed heist, and Ledger's compelling performance immediately set a tone of unpredictability and psychological depth, creating a captivating introduction to the film. The scene's combination of action, suspense, and character dynamics contributes to its memorability and the overall allure of "The Dark Knight."
